PRESSED FLOWERS
******************

Sometime - ages ago, in your wildflower meadow,

A lovers hopeful flowers, kept pressed - to show,

Your pages, your hours, clasped tween rings of rhyme,

Holding old dead time - left behind,

A message, a blessing - missed kisses, slipped years and hours,

Flowers - soft downy and mellow, a meadow - faded and yellow,

Such a long long time ago.
